Welcome......
Welcome to St Mary’s Catholic Parish, South Brisbane.
Whenever I think of St Mary’s, I recall with gratitude to God those who have gone before and who have provided us with this beautiful church in which Mass has been celebrated since 1893. Added to this there are the generations of families who have significant connections with this Parish in its long history.
When I celebrate Mass and gather with this community, I find extraordinary enthusiasm from the parishioners to see St Mary’s develop into a healthy future, based on living the Gospel and engaging effectively in spreading its Good News.
You are always welcome to join our small but vibrant community of faith,
Fr Ken Howell
